clutch pedel drop????

jesus this car...

ok brand new MC, SC, brand new SS clutch line from the dampner thing to the SC... i have tried to bleed this thing fluid does come out, but the pedel drops to the floor with force and doesnt return back... i cant fucking figure this shit out. anyone have this problem or any ideas how to fix that????
 
and your pedal will not return until it has pressure to return it. it might take a bit. just bleed and pull up when the pedal stays down. just did it on my nsx. it was being a bitch.

nope... but im not retarded either. I thought that it would maybe take alot of pumping and bleeding to get pressure in the system. the other thing that i thought that it could be is the stupid dampner that might have air in it, cause that thing is being a bitch to bleed.

i havent had the chance yesterday to remove the dampner, but i do plan on it today... just got to figure out how im going to connect the hard line to the clutch line... i guess you guys bend it?
 
Dont do it all in one big bend. Make, say, 5 ot 6 individual bends (to make it gradual). You don't want to cut off th fluid with to crazy of a bend.
 
mmmmmmm didnt think about trying something like that.. i was going to try to buy connector cause there is another hard line coming out of the dampner to the clutch line. but i think that i could do what you said.
 
Brake line is meant to beable to bend, so you'll be fine. But if you screw up, just go buy some line from Advanced or somewhere.
 
my friends car was doing this and it turned out that he had no fluid in the clutch master cylinder

you did check to see if you have enough fluid right?
 
yeah it has enough i have filled it up a few times already.. there cant be anyway that there isnt if the little cup is full?
 
You could try disconnecting the hardline from the master cyl, put ur finger there and press it real hard, and someone push the pedal to see if its squirting with pressure and stuff, the connect it then go to the slave bleed it and stuff and make sure the slave is pushing the fork all the way, if its just leaking or reeeal weak or not moving it u know what that means, Cyl bad, if it is moving just fine, it could be ur pressure plate or something else
 
^^It's a hydraulic issue not mechanical. A pressure plate/fork have nothing to do with the pedal staying to the floor.
 
here is what I'd do:

1. check the MC then check the SC.... See if when you are pumping the clutch its working they both are working properly.
2. if MC/SC work 100% i would move onto this step: Make sure the adjustable forkthat connects the MC to the pedal is adjusted properly. I have had huge issues bleeding the clutch if its set too far in. I'd extendit out gradually...
3. IF that didn't work I would be frustrated. I'd make sure all the lines are good from the master to the slave.
4.then my last move, which I've had to do 1 time.... make sure the pivot ball isn't broken, and the Clutch fork is clipped on with the spring.
