Ok, I am looking for a car to get started drifting with for under $1100, but I need some help of ideas because I am new to everything and only know so many cars to look for. I have been checking craigslist.org and a couple other sites looking for Celicas, RX7s, 240s, and Supras. Any other cars that I could possibly find in my price range I don't know about that would be a good search? All help appreciated.

P.S. I want the car all together, not just a shell/motor, and I don't just want something that is going to take me hundreds of dollars to fix before it runs preferably.
 
s13's are pretty cheap and heard there good to learn in thats what im planning on picking up there are always s13 for sale on here and u can find some bargains so check the for sale section or autotrader

Yo dude what up it's Karr!

If you want a 240 I am sure I can find you one around here lake city/ live oak for a 1100.00 that runs and 5 speed.

First off, what's up, and do I know you? lol. But ya, if you know of any 240s for under 1100 that are 5 speed and run with decent motors and no high cost fixing definately send me a PM of any you see or hear about. I might give you a call sometime this week.
 
id say research all 4 cars...but i say sit and think... ok celica... wat options of parts do u have? is it gonna b worth it in the end?. 240sx.. LOTS OF OPTIONS!... RX7.. wat if it breaks down? ive herd repairs are a pain in the ass! after market parts yes..Supra.. if its NA dont waste ur time IMO.. if its turbo.. alot of work into it.. but mite b worth it in the end.. i say start w a 240..

Ya I had been starting to think about over all future work and costs realizing how the 240 is the best option because of parts availability and cheaper costs. It's simply just an ideal starter car. I have heard good things about the Miata too ya but it would be the same with the costs problem, and I'm on a kind of small budget. Just finding the 240 I want to start with AND can afford is the hard part lol. S13 would be ideal as well. Thanks for the inputs and advice.

yea np i was in the same situation as u.. i finaly got a hatchi for $1000.. and now school is starting and no more full time.. so am deciding wat to buy for the car.. :S
