so i was practicing drifting in this TOTALLY secluded parking lot..in like an office building-park type of thing. great roads and parking lots to drift. i was there for about 45 minutes and im getting ready to take off when 2 cops pass me. Sure enough the lights go on and fucckkkk im getting pulled over.

she said 1) they could hear my tires. 2) someone on a bike rode by and saw me. 3) she followed me in her car for a couple minutes and she could smell my tires.
long story short i got a very stern warning, and lectured on how i could be in jail right now, and not wearing glasses/contacts while i drive is a criminal offense.

she said they patrol that area all the time...so i guess i gotta find a new spot

Damn when I checked out the thread I thought your car was on fire...But at least you got off with a warning. Could have been worse, time to look for another spot.

no but seriously, if a cop can see from the streets it is NOT a secluded spot and hence you should do 5-10min MAX. i rotate my spots, pull a few stunts at a time and move on, come back later haven't been caught yet [knock on wood]

thats what ive been doing with this spot that like 4 mins away from my house.... its a pretty nice spot so i hit it up for about 10 mins go chill for about 30 then come back.... theres a couple turns to hit on the way there and back so its chill.....

thank god you didnt get a ticket bro....

yea why cant they just be doin there job when dudes is shootin the block up ...then its like "well every body has to take a donut brake sometime" ..W/E an the car looks good with the wheels and wing the way it is unless u really want to join the "clone wars"

they couldnt do shit if they didnt catch you in the act thats why they gave you a warning

but as far as no glasses or contacts you can get your license suspended over that if your license says you need them

besides, drifting in parking lots is only a 60$ ticket for majority ticket clinics I've gotten about 30 of them in the past 2 years

yea...hopefully ill be getting a new trunk lid next week

and i know im lucky they let me off with a warning... gotta find a more distant spot now
 
i got a white s14 trunk lid if you want it come pick it up for 20 bucks i never used it got it for my white s14 then sold the car lmk
 
dam got lucky my friend got caught racing not to long ago and had some passengers he was a passenger everyone in the car got a 200 dollar fine so at least you werent put in jail and through more of a hassle

not even close...TALLAHASSEE PD! its hard as FUCK to find good spots up here. i actually spent the last 2 hours crusing around with my friend in his FC to find spots
