beat by a honda.....

raced a honda prelude today and i lost.... the honda has a T70 turbo, fmic, 3in exhuast and tuned for 7psi but it spikes 10psi. my 240 has redtop sr20det with greddy intake manifold
ebay exhuast manifold and 3in exhuast and im on 15psi with the stock t25.
i dont know if my car should have been faster or what but i got my ass handed to me. anyways heres the race

do what i did on my stock one. port the hot side and while your at it port the wastegate. but i was running 15psi on my stocker and it basically fell apart in a couple of months.at 15psi it dynoed at 250whp and now i put the ported one on and only running 10psi and pulls way hard than the stock ports on 15psi.

was that at okechobee?? looks familiar

and nice stuff there even though u lost and u say u lost to a honda like its a bad thing....i have a honda and i beat some 240's

but nice race man ull win next time :bigthumbu

dont t25 give up @ 14 or 1 bar, i would suggest a t28, not expensive at all and they boost a bit higher, or hustle and save up some bread and buy the ams gt32, its only 650 brand new on turbo240.com owned by ams(the one with the 9 second ka-t)

the myths are falsee i say.....shananigans!!!! (sp?)

t25's arnt even efficient past like 12 psi.I ran 15psi on my t25,and not only did it destroy itself, when it got to 15psi it would actually slow down.

you lost b/c you werent spiking 21 holding 19, like Manfred was, lol. stock intake manifold flows fine for t25, but the greddy will help you if you get a bigger turbo.

i ran 15 psi for 9 months before my turbo gave out. s15 turbos are $8-900, for a few hundred more you can get a reeeeaaaal turbo  but a gt32 for $650 sounds affordable, but laggy.

wtf, differnet turbo, motor, gearing and car, all of that has to do with why your car hauls ass. t25 sr w/ full bolt-ons RARELY make over 210whp. porting out a t28 like Greg did would be worth it, but a ported t25 would still be slow imo.

yeeeauh.

all in all, with your setup...most turbo honda's (done with any amount of knowledge) will walk you.
