So i ran my power cable from the battery to the amp. i have the ground for the amp done. i am using my stock head unit so i had to use an output converter which i wired but there is a brown ground wire that says to use it if i am using a floating ground setup. idk what that means.
also i wired my remote wire for the amp but i dont know where to put the remote ground?

Im not sure about the floating ground thing, but the remote wire can be wired to anything that is 12V when the key is at the "ON" and "ACC" position.

Not sure what car you have, but if you look up the wiring diagram, find one that is switched 12v, and that can be used as your remote wire. Your stock headunit also may already have a remote wire if the car has a factory amp, but thats a big 'maybe'.

With the line out converter the only time you use that brown wire is if your getting system noise besides that just cut them short and tape them up. The remote wire is almost just liek a really to tell the amp to pull power out fo the battery you can use anything that comes on with the key in cabin fuse box usually the best place. and there is no remote ground....
