5 speed swap in a KA

so dude that i bought my car from says i can just throw in the 5 spd trans into my car. but he also said that the ecu will make it run just a tiny bit richer. is this goin to be a problem. and will i be able to use the motor that is in it now?:)
 
Yes you use the motor just have to change the pilot bearing to a manual one when you pull it out. The ecu will not make a diference, maybe run richer and you will not have a speed limiter (which is better than having one).
 
Yea, you also have to install all the 5 speed stuff too. But as far as the engine goes just change pilot bearings and put the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate and tranny on and your good to go.
 
Sick! Yea I might be picking another one up too. Just so I have a backup lol.
 
yeh i want bak up car. still not sure if i should get another 40 as back up or something else. maybe a truck
