yes it can also check for spark at those injectors

Switch the spark plug cables running to cylinder 2 and 3 with each other. See if it runs better.

ok wow let see the problem with that is that i have already asked jay to fix it not only that he had the car at his house for like 2 day once and the problem remains....what good is a toyota specialist that wont/cant fix the problem, im not bashing jay, yea he knows what he's doing but if he knew/cared what the problem was it would have been fixed by now, thats y im askin a bunch of nissan guys for help instead of goin to ur toyota guru...

well if he wanted to get paid he should have jus told me cause no one offers to pay for anything who would rather get stuff done for free....lol but ill try the diag box things and ill let yall know

Have you tried switching the 2 and 3 spark cables yet?

bro i drove this car just the other day n trust me it doesnt feel like the wires are switched over, it barely wants to rev up n you basicly have to get on the pedal to get it to move anywhere. the wires have nothin to do with the issue he having, it barely wants to stay on dude. but good luck with fixin it bro i wana see the car run like it used to so we can go sliding.

Its a Toyota engine that is how they feel on full power 6 HP and nothing happens change a real engine in there and you can do donuts again! LOL
But really if the cylinders 2-3 are not firing you have only couple of options either there is no spark on them, no fuel or you have lost compression between 2-3 those are pretty much the only options.
Lift the fuel rail up with the injectors and try starting the car see if all injectors are spraying. Pull out wires and attach a spark plug on the wire see if it sparks, buy a compression tester for $20 from parts store and measure all the cylinders

Lift the fuel rail up with the injectors and try starting the car see if all injectors are spraying.

that is deffinately a failure mode move for one the injectors will shoot out of the rail and for two if u dont unplug the distributer when u do this then u will potentially ignite the spark in the cylinders while you are holding the fuel rail and u will start a fire...ask me how i know this

either way you need to look over what he said tho
