225/50/15 tire recomendations.

Hey I love Azenis 615 or 215's. Im looking for hankook rs2's or es100's in this size. Im also open to other tires. Anyone know where i can pick these up locally cheap?

www.edgeracing.com meng, id stick with the azenis, i went from them to the hankooks and they couldn't compare, wet or dry the azenis give super confidence/good feeling while sliding, the hankook not so much.

Most peole find the Hankook to be a step up. Ask edgeracing about their tests between the two. DON'T get ES100's if you're looking for something comparable to Azenis...completely different tire and nowhere near as much grip.

Ive talked 2 edge. Ive found them for 83 a tire plus shipping. Anyone else seen a better price?

I have not tried many different performance tires besides the rs-2. I really like them alot, im on my second set of front tires(225\50\16) and I have a 245 45 16 that I put on the rear. I have not done any serious track time with them, but i have gotten a trail of smoke coming off the rear and no signs of chunking or flying apart. Very consistant grip hot or cold, I guess you can say they have a wide temprature operating range. Maybe its the staggered tire setup but you can drive huge slip angles with out much worry for someone who kinda knows what they are doing; while maintaining some cushion before you start getting too much yaw and slowing down. They work awesome in the rain too. :bigthumbu

its so much fun driving the 225\245 setup... its just the right balence to get some front tire slip upon initiation while being able to maintain control mid-drift. :bigthumbu :bigthumbu :bigthumbu
