correct, unless you solder the connections after you cut them, there is little space. Usually have to do with out it the 3rd brake light and defroster.

ok then, do any of u guys kno if its possible to fix a rusty hatch with like bondo or something? because if got some minor rust but I want both the wiper and defroster to at least work....

just get a carbon fiber one FTW!!!! lmao ... yes it can be fixed w bondo but its gonna look horrible.. can u post a pic of wat it looks like?

grind the aera around the rust smooth removing all the paint. Spray the rusted area with rust converter primer. bondo with dura glass or ultimate bondo.
