    could you explain the purpose of the resistor for the coil if that is what it is? It controls line pressure to the automatic transmission, i forget the exact name, its on the engine performance schematic in any all data or michell on demand programs. Driver side wheel well. I had an auto, im right.

    Automatic transmission torque converter lockup thingy. unplug it and the transmission runs full line pressure under part throttle as if you were wide open all the time.
