title transfer

I want to know what it required in getting a japanese title tranfered into an american title an if anyone know how much that cost.

From what I heard the car has to be inspected an with everything it'll cost bout 1000 or more. Is this true

that would be a bit complicated as that chassis was never produced here unlike the 240-silvia, rx7, supra and many others

Dam. Like my friends mom works at a tag agency I'm waiting for her to come with some info on this. But I wanna know cuz I'm sure someone on here has probably done this.

An yeah I understand the part bout it be diff cuz the car was never produced here.

well its my understanding that all the paperwork is done upon arrival into customs on US soil. it can cost anywhere from 500 to $2000, it just all depends on the mood of the customs agent that you are dealing with. is the car already in the country??

Yeah actually I am. Lol. Well I spoke to the owner he would throw in the rb26dett with it.
The only reason I'm asking is cuz I saw it'll be a goood deal. An kinda like an investment. I'm most likely not gonna get it cuz I might be to much of a pain in the ass. But just in case I wanna see what I could do.
