Speedway to add drifting nights

Ocala Speedway

The Ocala Speedway would like to start drifting nights on Saturday nights. Any of you guys have any input or ideas you'd like to see included in the program.
 
Lets get some ideas rolling. I'm the owner of the track, Mike. This is going to be a dedicated night for all you guys and the locals. I'd like to start two Saturday nights a month and more if it works. I'm open for ideas so lets make it off the hook.
 
I think you should work something out with Josh who runs the OSW events on the dates of the events. That way don't run the chance of having two events on the same day and the likelihood of not having enough people show up to both events.

What price you looking to charge?
 
Is that the same track they had the DGTrials @? Glad to see more tracks/owners stepping it up for the Drifting Scene as a whole!

Does your insurance allow for tandem practice?

I think a drift demonstration should be held to give spectators in the area a look at what the sport is about. It might entice some people in the crowd to attend a drift practice later on.
 
guys this track pretty nice. boxmod and mikespeeeed did a demo there a while ago. its a pretty big track.I think jason has video somewhere around the site.jason was saying it was some what slick tho. might be good for under powdered cars.
 
more events, more drifting, Good Suggestion Bladder btw. This is not to be confused with Ocala Gran Prix. Yes its sick with banking.
 
how far away is ocala from fort myers?
and would it be cheap ($20) like the bradenton oval that offers drift practices now every thursday night?
 
I wonder if ter-tech added $10 on top of every entry fee if we in a couple years could save up enough to build our own skid pad or parking lot?
